Care Instructions

Vacuum regularly with the beater bar or brush roll switched off, and avoid running the vacuum along the braided edges. Blot spills straight away and spot clean with mild soap and cool water, then let the area dry fully. Do not soak, steam or machine wash; jute is a plant fiber and can stain or weaken if it stays wet, so keep it away from standing water. Like all natural jute, it may shed a little at first; this settles after the first few vacuumings. The rug ships folded: lay it flat for 3 to 5 days and set books on any stubborn creases.
